Need to retrace your steps or remember a handy shortcut? Not only can you view a map of your last 10 trips’ distance, time and location, you can also see your Drive Pulse. This score shows you how effective your cornering, braking and accelerating are and how you can improve[CS7].

Your Drive Pulse information

Every trip you take helps build an aggregate average Drive Pulse score out of 100. Your score is affected by fast acceleration, harsh cornering and harsh braking[CS8].

Fast acceleration

Excessive acceleration means extra wear on your tyres as well as using your petrol, diesel or battery power inefficiently.

Harsh cornering

Harsh cornering

Harsh cornering creates unnecessary wear on your tyres and is also unsafe for you and other road users.

Harsh braking

Harsh braking

Harsh braking suggests that you were either driving too fast, not concentrating on the road or you were affected by another road user.
