Warrnambool Toyota is a long established business focussing on Guest First and Serving the Local Community and this certainly won’t change with our new owners  -  Matthew Burgess, Dealer Principal and Paul Gough, General Sales Manager.

Matthew is a local born and raised in Warrnambool and has worked his way through ranks starting as a technician in 1994.  In July 2000 Matthew moved into the Sales for 6 years and then was promoted to Service Manager.  In 2012 Matthew became our General Manager and has now taken over the reins as Dealer Principal.

Paul began his career as a sales cadet in 1989.  He left for a short time to work for Lexus in the UK and returned to work his way through the ranks to become the General Sales Manager.  Paul has dedicated himself for over 20 years to the Sales Department and is an Accredited Fleet Specialist.

Warrnambool Toyota is an award winning Dealership with numerous awards for Excellence in all departments, including the prestigious Presidents Award for overall Excellence.  Our Parts Department has topped the State by winning the Silver Award for Excellence three years running.

Our 29 local staff members are committed to providing outstanding guest services and was recognised by Toyota and awarded as a 5-Star Guest Services Dealership for Superior Experience.

Awards & Recognition

Each year, Toyota recognizes its stellar dealerships with the prestigious President's Award for excellence. It's a very high honour a dealership can receive from Toyota, and is only awarded to those dealerships who have demonstrated a commitment to maintaining Toyota's high standards for customer satisfaction. Warrnambool Toyota won this prestigious award in 2008.

Since the President’s Award in 2008, Warrnambool Toyota have gone on to win numerous Excellence Awards with most recently being awarded Bronze Excellence in Customer First,  Service Department,  Business Management and Marketing in 2013.

Dear Valued Guests

There is no doubt COVID-19 has heightened our awareness of health and safety concerns.  So we thought you might want to know what steps we're taking to keep our staff and guests safe.

Precautions we are taking include:

  • Taking every team member's temperature each morning
  • Making hand sanitiser readily available throughout the dealership
  • Informing and educating our staff on hygiene and social distancing
  • Encouraging our team to take time off if they show any signs of ill health 
  • Disinfecting counters, tables, and furniture twice daily
  • Increasing the depth of our nightly site clean

If you are still concerned about having your vehicle serviced you may wish to use our Contactless Service Option.  Simply follow the instructions:

  • Drop your keys off in our Early Bird Key Box located on the wall at Service
  • Pay over the phone when your car is completed
  • Pick up your keys and you're away

We will continue to stay up to date with the latest government advice and commmit to doing whatever is required to minimise risk for all staff and guests.
